osx - How to get default shell -

we can run chsh -s /usr/local/bin/zsh set new default shell. there command can run know shell is?

i don’t mean having terminal open , running command know shell we’re in, mean in example above, if i’m in terminal /bin/bash open, should run /usr/local/bin/zsh if it’s current default shell?

you can use following command echo $shell
