html - which browsers dont send the referer header? -

i read fact, user-agents dont have send referer header cant rely on it. limit others "stealing" pictures page , generating load without gaining that, using referer check if user on page way circumvent stealing (there other techniques sessions require cookies).

so wondering if has data/numbers on distribution of user-agents omit referer header?!
